JETSKI TOUR

Tropical Reef Watersports: Dive into an exhilarating water adventure with our jet ski tour. Not only will you have the chance to pilot your own jet ski and bring a passenger, but you’ll also follow us on a high-speed route along the northwest coast of Vieques.

On this journey, we’ll visit three spectacular beaches, including Punta Arenas, also known as Green Beach, one of Vieques’ most stunning locations. The other two are hidden gems accessible only by boat or jetski.

One of them will surprise you with its black sand, while the other, affectionately called the ‘Secret Spot‘ features a swing on the shoreline, offering a breathtaking view of Eastern Puerto Rico, including the Yunque mountain. This tour lasts for 1 hour and 15 minutes, giving you ample time to explore and enjoy all that Vieques has to offer.

We have three exciting tour options designed to fit your busy schedule, each offering a unique and thrilling experience. While all our tours offer the exhilaration of jetskiing, we’d like to highlight the unforgettable snorkeling adventures that await you:

Tour #1: From 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM – Dive into 2 full hours of adventure with a combination of jetskiing and snorkeling. Explore vibrant reefs teeming with marine life and soak in the beauty of the underwater world.

Jet ski & Snorkeling: This comprehensive 2-hour tour offers you the best of both worlds.

Enjoy 1 hour and 15 minutes of thrilling jetskiing, followed by 45 minutes of snorkeling. On this tour, we visit the same three stunning beaches and make a stop at Green Beach, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore a vibrant reef teeming with marine life, including various species of fish, manta rays, and different kinds of sea turtles.

We provide all the necessary equipment for the activity, such as life vests, snorkeling masks, and fins. If you’re not an experienced swimmer, don’t worry: we offer detailed instructions to ensure you enjoy the experience in a safe and comfortable manner.

Each tour features a constant on-water guide presence. For groups larger than 5 people, we add a second guide to ensure even greater safety.

Thanks to Tropical Reef and Emmir, we had a truly special night. I proposed to my girlfriend, and they were all in on the surprise. During the tour, the water was so sparkly that day; it looked incredible. They made everything special, and it turned out exactly as I'd envisioned. HELL. NO. listen to the bad reviews. Not only are the workers extremely unprofessional, rude, and dismissive their business lack any ethics or morality and is a tourist trap for non Spanish speaking foreigners. When I arrived for my 8 pm reservation 30 minutes prior as stated on the website I was made to believe that I would make it in time for my 9:30 ferry back to the mainland(the last one too). The short women at the front then indirectly tells us our reservation was delayed after beating around the bush. Not only did this catch us completely by surprise but this also meant we wouldn’t be able to make it for our ferry back meaning we would be stranded on vieques. When it came down to a bio bay tour and being stranded we made the descision to not take the tour and asked for a refund after explaining our side. This refund wouldn’t be as impactful if the sum we paid was little, but we were charged close to 600 dollars. THEY REFUSED TO REFUND US. Nowhere on the website does it say that our reserved time slots are subject to change. Though it wasn’t our fault that our reservation at 8 was delayed we were not refunded. They were extremely defensive and dismissive. The businesses owner hung up on us and we were met with a lack of respect that it felt mocking. We ended up calling the authorities and yet they were unphased as they were friends with the police officers. Just trying to scam people, this business should get its license taken away.

If I could recommend ONE thing to anyone visiting Vieques, it would be to book the bioluminescent kayak tour with Tropical Reef Watersport. Do NOT miss this opportunity.

We almost didn’t go and that would have been the biggest mistake of our trip. This ended up being the absolute highlight of our time in Puerto Rico and, no exaggeration, one of the most breathtaking experiences I’ve ever had. This experience genuinely changed my brain chemistry.

The completely clear kayaks made it feel like we were floating over millions of glowing stars and sparkling bioluminescence. Every paddle lit up the water around us, and it honestly felt surreal.

A huge thank you to William, whose knowledge and passion for the bay made the experience even more incredible. You could tell he truly loves what he does, and we learned so much throughout the tour. Danny and the rest of the staff were equally amazing—so kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful from beginning to end. They made everyone feel comfortable and ensured we had the best experience possible.

As if the tour itself wasn’t enough, the photos they took for us turned out absolutely incredible and gave us memories we’ll have forever. If you’re on the fence, BOOK IT!!!! You won’t regret it.

We had the most magical experience with this tour group! Derek and Danny are the dream team 🩷 they went out of their way to make sure we had an excellent experience. They went above and beyond expectations. 20/10 experience!!!

we honestly booked this trip on a complete whim the day before 😂 for the tourist - it is recommended to stay in the night in Vieques, if you want the best experience in the bay. You can also book a jet ski tour with Derek and snorkel with the turtles the next day. We had a better experience in Vieques than Culebra. Highly recommend this island. Everyone at this company speaks super fluently in English and Spanish.

To book, you do want to try to have cloud cover or less moon in the sky. The bay itself is honestly so magical and a wonderful experience! So far, Vieques has been the highlight of my trip 🙂

For my first time on a kayak I was scared in dark ocean but they had someone near me that helped me out when I wasn't staying with the group. The night was dark and the water was glowing. Very knowledgeable of the island and gave us not only an incredible experience but some great advice of places to go. Wow! This is the company you want to say YES to for your tours in Vieques!
The guys are super friendly and patient, they explain everything step by step.
On the Jet ski tours with snorkeling 🤿 we saw turtles and they took spectacular photos of us on the swing!

The Bioluminescent Bay tour is one that you absolutely do not want to miss when coming to Vieques, with these guys you learn not only about these magical microorganisms, but also about the stars.

Arranged a last minute private Bio bay tour on a beautiful moonless night. Kids were allowed to sit in the middle of the kayaks. Knowledgeable guide added lots of context and took us to the best parts of the bay.

This tour saved our day on the island! We had the last ferry to take back to the mainland. The other tour company canceled last minute, and Tropical Reef came to rescue to show us the most gorgeous Bioluminescent Bay.

We also saw three planets on the tour as sky was pretty clear.

They were so considerate to drop us back to ferry terminal and assured we will make it in time. They charged 10 bucks pp.

We had an amazing experience with these guys. We made a short notice reservation for the bio tour and this place was very accommodating. I had 5 members in my family, 3 of which were kids. They allowed 1 to sit in the middle of the kayak. They were quick and easy to deal with and took care of my family during the tour. The bio tour went extremely well and they even took video and photos for us since it can be difficult to capture the bio on your camera. The video and pictures don't do it justice. Very amazing experience. Thank you again for guiding us. I would recommend this company for your bio tour.
